WHEN A SOULMATE
SAYS NO

"A Soulmate is the one person whose love is powerful enough to motivate you to meet your soul, to do the emotional work of self-discovery, of awakening."

- Kenny Loggins

A Memoir
Soulmate - Final Cover.png

Amanda never imagined that after uprooting her comfortable, stable life to make room for her soulmate that he would decide to go his own way. They both agreed that their connection was unbelievably cosmic. So why did he say no?

A fearless voyage of self-discovery fuelled by stubbornness, tenacity, and an unquenchable thirst for answers to the great mysteries of the soul. Amanda shares the intimate details of her transformation from love-sick hot mess to self-actualised confident and empowered woman with unapologetic vulnerability and effervescent humour.

Through the exploration of grief, spirituality, energy therapies, self-acceptance, and the undeniable healing power of a good Diana Ross song, Amanda’s story serves as an example of what is possible when we dare to dream of a life that’s nothing short of miraculous.

Soulmate Reviews

The depth of emotional authenticity and raw vulnerability expressed in When a Soulmate Says No is increasingly rare. Beginning with the total annihilation of her heart, Amanda's story transitions beautifully into one of bravery, honesty, and deep transformation.  The quest to align with her soul, and journey back to who she was all along, is a compelling read that had me holding my breath and cheering her on from the very first chapter. If you have experienced heartache and loss, allow yourself to be guided by Amanda, and enjoy the feeling of living this nearly unbelievable story by her side. Brava!

How do you know when you've met your soulmate? Amanda knew it instantly in every fibre of her being. What came next was a surprising exploration driven by universal intervention to a place deep within.  A place leading back to her authentic self and the discovery of her soul power.

When a Soulmate Says No is a love story of a different kind - a raw, intimate, and provocative journey back to self. Amanda teaches us that out of pain can come substantial growth; that getting shaken to the core is not an inglorious end, but instead opens us up to the dynamic possibility of a glorious new beginning - the rebuilding of a life that renders us our own hero.  I was rivited from the first pages and deeply enlightened the rest of the way.

I felt like I was reading my own story on steroids...

Part 1 of Kassidy's story.... Part 2 continues on the next slide...

I literally don’t even know where to begin…I finished your book yesterday after hearing Heather McDonald mention it on her podcast. To say I am gobsmacked might be an understatement. I felt like I was reading my own story on steroids.

In late 1990s I met a man that I knew from the moment our eyes locked that he was going to change my life. He is without a doubt THE LOVE of my life. That complicated, beautiful, soul changing entanglement was my journey of the deepest love, the highest highs and the lowest lows of my life. I’ve had no contact with him for 3 years.

Last year I met a man in a bar in on a weekend girls trip. I wasn’t looking to meet a man and I have never had a one night stand. Then, I walk into a bar, see this man and I had that same tingly vibrational feeling. I wouldn’t approach him but my friends finally say “you know he’s checking you out as hard as you’re checking him out.” He comes over to me. I looked into his eyes and had this earth shattering feeling of “I’ve known this man my whole life, I feel like I’m home.”

The things he said to me were life changing. So odd in the moment, not the things a hot guy you’ve just met says to you. Why didn’t you come over and talk to me yourself? Forces me to answer 3 times until I admit I was sure a guy as hot as him wouldn’t be interested in me and fear of rejection kept me in my seat.
